Key Responsibilities:
- ·Oversee daily operations to ensure a streamlined and effective end-to-end HSE chemical product safety and stewardship process.
- Manage the creation and distribution of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), material initialization, and maintenance of HSE and drug product composition data.
- Conduct GHS/CLP classification and Dangerous Goods assessments for materials.
- Provide technical and process expertise to business units and sites, ensuring product compliance and safeguarding business continuity and reputation.
- Coordinate SDS inbox activities and track multiple requests using structured project management practices to meet delivery timelines.
- Support excipient management and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align compliance efforts with operational goals and regulatory standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, life sciences, or related field.
- Good experience in similar positions, preferably in HSE data management and SDS authoring.
- Experience using SDS authoring platforms: i.e. 3E Generate, SAP and Knowledge of SDS authoring regulations (i.e., EU CLP, US OSHA etc.).
- Demonstrated classification skills under at least three classification criteria (i.e. UN Purple book, US OSHA, EU CLP).
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
Desirable Requirements:
- IATA, IMDG, or ADR certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in HSE data management (HSE Management Systems; HSE IT Systems, including enterprise approaches to product initialization, SDS management and related; HSE hazard identification, risk assessment and control; Product registration and product regulatory classifications Supply Chain management)
- Project Management skills and proficiency in Microsoft office
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and operate in a highly matrixed environment.
